Since times gone by the Dolomites have fascinated poets, architect and climbers, all enchanted by the vertical rock faces, the jagged ridges, and the subtle colours – a unique effect that the calcified rocks give off at dawn and especially at dusk. Goethe, Le Corbusier, Messner are just some of the famous one enchanted by the ‘Pale Peaks’ and influenced by these special mountains. In 2009, during the Seville congress, the UNESCO conferred the title of “World Natural Heritage” on the Dolomites, adding them to the list of the 200 most fascinating natural landscapes of the world.

In this natural setting, surrounded by the Sella Massif, the Sassolungo Group, the Alpe di Siusi, the Sassongher, the Pelmo, the Civetta and the Marmolada, there are numerous mountain bike trails.

Moreover, every summer the Sellaronda HERO takes place here, this event involves 4 Valleys and 5 Municipalities and, in a few years, has become an unmissable MTB appointment. Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba, Val di Fassa, and Alpe di Siusi are known all around the world to be fascinating and unique places for MTB riders, offering not only amazing trails, but also lovely mountain huts serving up delicious local dishes.
